About the founder:

Teresa HorscroftTeresa Horscroft has been successful in raising the profiles of companies large and small, from unknown to blue chip.

She spent the first half of her career working for technology-focused PR agencies including Citigate Technology and Insight Marketing, both leading technology PR agencies.

Some of her early successes included:

  • the launch of the Securicor Datatrak vehicle tracking device, which received nationwide media attention including a full page in the Financial Times focusing on the technology and business benefits

  • arranging for a prominent MP to attend a press conference and using his presence to gain national TV and broadcast coverage for the client (Computacenter)

Some of the PR campaigns Teresa has worked on have won awards. These include:

  • PRCA Frontline Award for Best Technology PR campaign
    (Symantec ‘cyber snooping’ campaign in 2003)

  • Finalist in the CIPR Pride Awards for Best use of Media Relations
    (ScanSafe launch of Anywhere+)

In the last few years, Teresa’s PR campaigns have helped:

  • Facilitate the growth of (ISC)2’s UK membership from less than 300 to more than 3000 over 3 years

  • Re-establish Millward Brown’s UK business as an innovative, leading provider of brand, media and communications marketing research.

  • Create awareness of the value of addressable TV Advertising over IPTV networks for PacketVision

  • Grow ScanSafe’s UK business

Teresa has a Certificate in Marketing from the Chartered Institute of Marketing and a BTEC Business Diploma.

When she’s not building brands, Teresa keeps busy cooking up new recipes in the kitchen. She’s a keen cyclist and can often be found  cycling around the Hampshire lanes preparing for her next long-distance trip.
